The Girl Behind The Blog...

Hi all,

Just a quick note to say that my mini website that was originally launched about 3 years ago, which will just offer some support tools for this blog, is back up and running, and available at the following link:-

There’s an updated “About Me” page, which I have called “The Girl Behind the Blog”. This isn’t very detailed at the moment, but I will probably freshen this up later. It does, however, contain full answers to the two questions that I get asked the most. “Do you do Messenger Chat?” and “Is your blog actually real?”.

Links to my blog are on there, and I will look to add a small section to this page to tell you when my blog was last updated, and perhaps have a half-paragraph teaser of my blog before you click through the links to read it in full. Maybe this page could be a hub for readers to bookmark, and go through to read my blogs.

There is also an e-mail form if you want to contact me – although I can be contacted via the normal means as well, by just e-mailing me at blogslut13@yahoo.co.uk

And of course, there is my mailing list sign up. I urge all fans of my blog to sign up to this. You don’t get inundated with e-mails, all you get is, each time I write and post a new blog, you get an e-mail from me – add blogslut13@yahoo.co.uk to you safe-list if you sign up – with the subject “I’ve just updated my blog”. And the content of the e-mail will just be the title and a brief description of the blog I have posted, along with the links to the sites I post my blog at, so you can just click and read. I also give you a heads up as to whether the blog is safe work-time reading, or whether you might need 30 minutes of “alone-time” to read it! Hehe.

I’m looking at potentially adding a Q&A page in the coming months too, if I get some decent Q’s that need some decent A’s that others may want to read too. Obviously at this point I will move the 2 aforementioned Questions off my Profile page and onto this page, which will also free up some space on my profile page to add more to that.

And finally – the BLOG POLL! Remember when I started doing polls a couple of years back, where my readers got to have the final say on certain aspects of my life, such as what I should wear? Well, by popular demand, it’s coming back in late February, and I will hopefully keep it going this time around, interest permitting.

So stay tuned for that, a poll will be up around mid February time, but will only be up for two weeks maximum, so keep your eyes peeled for it so you don’t miss your chance to vote. Or even better, sign up to my above mentioned mailing list to make sure you don’t miss it!!

I also need ideas for future polls, so if you have any good or fun poll ideas, then get in touch!

I’m putting some extra effort into my blog in 2012 to freshen it up and keep it interesting, and more importantly, updated regularly, and I need all of your help to make that work pay off. Let’s continue to make this a great interactive experience for everybody!

My next blog is scheduled for the middle of next week – around 8th Feb (Wednesday). And the blog to launch the new poll will only be a week or so behind that where you’ll get the chance to be in control of something I will do toward the end of February.

But right now, it's been snowing outside for the past 3 hours, so I'm going to put my dog in her pretty pink coat (yes, I am THAT type of person lol), put on my wellington boots and most unsexy clothes and we're going to go and run around the snow covered park like a crazy lady and her equally crazy dog, because that really is... the girl behind the blog!
